Mission of the Position

The role of this mission is to ensure accurate and timely financial management for selected subsidiaries, maintaining compliance with financial policies and standards. This person strives to deliver precise monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports, facilitate smooth audit processes, and support overall financial stability and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Handle full sets of accounts of selected subsidiaries covering AR, AP, Fixed Asset, Lease and General Ledger.
2. Handle day to day account operations and month end closing.
3. Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and intercompany reconciliations.
4. Working knowledge of IFRS 116 Lease accounting.
5. Submission of monthly GTO Reports to respective landlords.
6. Preparation of quarterly GST and assist in yearly income tax computation.
7. Prepare required monthly schedules/reports for yearly audit and tax purposes.
8. Assist to prepare management accounts and group consolidation accounts.
9. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
10. Any other ad hoc duties assigned.

Key Criteria/Requirements

1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
2. Experience in using Oracle Netsuite preferred but not required
3. Knowledge of IFRS 116 accounting standard preferred
4. Positive attitude with the ability to keep all financial details confidential
5. Independent worker, resourceful, able to work with little guidance
6. Strong proficiency in written and spoken English
7. Organizational skills
