Group Operations Finance partners with Global Supply Chain, Finance and Quality Teams to manage and drive performance.
From time to time, the incumbent will also work on ad hoc analysis and projects to provide insightful analysis for decision making by the senior management function in Dyson.
This role reports into the Head of Finance.
About The Role
Provide timely, accurate, insightful demand/supply plan reporting and analysis
Develop, oversee, review KPIs with key stakeholders, include but not limited to supply shortfall, cost of quality, inventory coverage
Analyse and optimize inventory level by identifying risk and opportunities
Support initiatives to improve financial decision making and visibility regarding inventory, demand and supply at region
Track and report Cost of Quality, leverage on KPIs, identify opportunities to reduce Cost of Quality; facilitate process for claims
Understand individual market strategic and dynamic in terms of supply chain planning, Quality and Aftersales, able to call out risk and opportunities with financial implication, enabling decision making
Prepare ad hoc analysis to support new and existing initiatives
Trusted business partner to Supply Chain and Quality organisations
Develop and drive process improvement and efficiency
About You
Qualified accountant or equivalent graduate qualification
At least 3 years of relevant work experience
Experience in management reporting system and analytical tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
Experience in S&OP will enable fast start
Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyse, and interpret complex data sets
Ability to understand concepts and ideas quickly and model data in meaningful ways
Naturally Inquisitive - comfortable and willing to interrogate existing process and systems
Proactive in proposing ideas to challenge status quo
Excellent personal and business presentation skills, in particular the presentation of financial information to non-finance managers and directors
Attention to detail and accuracy
Assertive and able to influence upwards and across functions
