Our client is an established single-family office with presence in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Greater China. They manage a diverse portfolio and invest institutional-sized capital across varying asset classes, industry sectors, and geographic regions. Our goal is to constantly seek opportunities and diversification to balance risk management and wealth preservation.

Job Description:

Investment Analysis and Research:

1. Conduct thorough analysis of investment opportunities across various asset classes including equities, fixed income, real estate, and alternative investments.
2. Research and evaluate potential investments based on their risk-return profile, market trends, and financial performance.
3. Prepare detailed investment memos and presentations for the Investment Committee.

Fund and Portfolio Management:

1. Manage a portfolio of institution-sized capital, ensuring optimal asset allocation and risk management.
2. Track and analyse portfolio performance against benchmarks and industry standards. Prepare regular performance reports for stakeholders and senior management.

Due Diligence:

1. Conduct due diligence on investment managers, funds, and direct investments to ensure alignment with the family office's investment strategy and risk tolerance.
2. Evaluate legal, financial, and operational aspects of potential investments.

Reporting and Compliance:

1. Keep abreast of market developments, economic indicators, and regulatory changes whilst regularly updating senior management and stakeholders on fund performance.
2. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal investment policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
2. Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
3. Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
5. Good knowledge in financial markets, Bloomberg, and Capital IQ.
6. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Certifications: CFA, CPA, or similar certifications are a plus.
