Senior Facultative Broker

The job entails:

1. As first point of contact for day-to-day communication with Facultative accounts, follow up on correspondences and manage/maintain communications.
2. Develops and communicates an understanding of client businesses, research on industry issues.
3. Work with the Actuarial and Analytics Department and create a narrative to secure optimal solution for the clients.
4. Collects insights and information on relationship satisfaction and reports results to senior management offering context and suggestions when needed to best ensure account satisfaction and retention.
5. Acquires a fluency in the Company's various service offerings and market trends to enrich work performed and develop sales capabilities.
6. A business producer, develop new business by actively sourcing additional business from existing clients as well as through new clients to accelerate revenue growth.

What you need to have:

1. Degree in any discipline.
2. Proficient in MS Office.
3. Have Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent or complete CGI within reasonable period upon employment.
4. Currently working with at least 2 to 3 years experience in reinsurance industry. Knowledge of Facultative reinsurance and client-facing experience will be an advantage.

The ideal candidate should preferably possess:

1. Possess a strong network with the reinsurers responsible for the South East Asia Region.
2. Good communication and written skills in English.
3. Meticulous and keen attention to details.
4. Highly motivated and a team player with good interpersonal skills while concurrently being able to work proactively and work independently where required.
