About The Job

Reporting to the Senior Manager (Stewardship & Events), the Senior Executive plays a critical role in fostering long-term relationships and executing impactful events to support the effective engagement of donors and supporters. The position holder’s primary responsibility will be to manage and deliver a wide portfolio of both larger and more intimate events in and outside of campus.

What You Will be Doing

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Senior Manager (Stewardship & Events) and fundraising team to develop an effective plan for engagement and donor stewardship activities.
  • Manage a portfolio of events for donors and supporters such as the annual appreciation receptions, award recipient meet-and-greets, and other bespoke events.
  • Implement a refreshed approach to engaging donors by designing stewardship events that provide a meaningful donor experience.
  • Conceptualise, engage and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth running and execution of events.
  • Oversee event budgets and expenditure tracking.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate donor records in the database about engagement history and preferences.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in event management, marketing and communications or nonprofit management. Experience in higher education setting will be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisation skills, resourceful and keen attention to detail.
  • Proven relationship-building, collaboration and cultivation of partners and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proficiency in graphic design software will be advantageous.
