The role will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing primarily for Singapore and Malaysia and may include other countries. This includes payroll data management, payroll processing, payroll posting up to payroll-relevant general ledger management.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Payroll Processing: Responsible for payroll calculation, payroll processing, and ensuring timely salary disbursements to employees. This includes handling deductions, bonuses, and overtime payments.
Payroll System Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate employee records for payroll processing. This involves tracking attendance of no pay leaves and overtime.
Regulatory: Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations, including Central Provident Fund (CPF), EPF contributions, and statutory requirements for other countries. This includes responsibility for regulatory filing, where required.
Reporting: Prepare payroll reports.
Audit Support: Assist with payroll audits by providing necessary documentation.
Projects: Involvement in payroll or other projects on process improvements, automation, system integration, etc.
Minimum Requirements:
Degree/Diploma, preferably in Human Resources.
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), but not mandatory.
5 to 8 years of payroll processing experience, preferably with non-Singapore payroll experience.
Familiarity with payroll software (e.g. Prosoft) and Microsoft Office is essential for efficient operations (vlookup, pivot and some formulas).
Familiarity and interest to seek understanding in employment regulations in different countries.
Experience engaging and working with payroll vendors on payroll processing.
Detail-oriented and precision in handling numbers and data is critical to ensure accurate payroll processing.
