Job purpose
The Senior Executive, Partnership Development & Communications will support Arts House Limited’s (AHL) efforts in building strategic partnerships and enhancing the organisation’s public image, reputation, and media presence.
This role plays a key part in strengthening AHL’s relationships with partners, sponsors, and stakeholders while ensuring cohesive and impactful communications across various platforms.
Duties and responsibilities
Public Relations and Corporate Communications
Execute and provide support in public relations and media strategies to enhance AHL’s visibility, reputation, and engagement with key audiences.
Manage media relations, including drafting and distributing press releases, media advisories, pitches, and responses to media inquiries for corporate initiatives including venue programmes.
Coordinate media interviews, press conferences, journalist visit programmes for signature festivals and editorial placements to generate positive coverage for AHL’s festivals and initiatives.
Assist in the development of stakeholder communications, including newsletters, speeches, presentations and annual reports.
Work closely with social media/marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging across public relations, social media, and digital platforms.
Support the Manager in monitoring and analysing media coverage, audience sentiment, and public relations effectiveness, providing insights to refine future communication strategies.
Support internal teams in copyediting materials for impactful storytelling and messaging that aligns with AHL’s strategic goals.
Draft and disseminate media listing for local media and international media where applicable.
Partnership Development
Assist the team in identifying and consolidating new corporate and individual prospects, including sourcing and maintaining key contact information to support the development of a well-targeted and comprehensive prospect pipeline for AHL’s fundraising platforms.
Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of engagement events, including site visits, food tastings, printing of signages / place cards/menus and purchasing of necessary props and materials.
Manage RSVP tracking of invitations, guest lists, timeline coordination, internal procurement processes, and venue bookings with both internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in crafting the department’s digital communication collaterals which include compelling quarterly newsletters and EDM invitations, monitoring of click-through rates and contributing to the development of strategic communications that engage and inform our donor/prospect community.
Support the department in monitoring online donation channels, the general Partnership Development email to ensure the team is promptly informed of any new organic donations or expressions of interest.
Assist in the updating of PD’s fundraising and patron webpages with the addition of new initiatives and inclusion of new patrons' names to our web acknowledgements.
Assist and participate in conducting research, including comparative studies on other charities and sector counterparts, to inform strategy development and partnership strategies.
Provide administrative support of filing of PD documents/records and updating of Donor Management System & campaigns.
Support the team with calendar scheduling, meeting coordination, minute-taking, and managing technical and logistical requirements when necessary.
Assist with the creation of slide templates and consolidate relevant images or videos for presentations and pitch decks.
Provide administrative and logistical support for printing and mailing thank-you and appeal letters.
Consolidate supporting information and data needed for approval papers and post-grant reports, as required.
Any other duties
General administrative support for Partnership Development and Communications functions, including stakeholder list management, filing and submission of materials.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as required to support AHL’s objectives.
Qualifications
Education
Degree/ Diploma in Mass Communications, Business Development, Arts Management or any relevant field
At least 3 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, business development or any relevant field
Skills
Strong attention to detail, with good organization and planning skills, able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while consistently delivering high quality work with tight deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively bilingual is an advantage.
Good teamwork, communications and people management skills are essential.
Strong willingness to learn.
Driven, proactive and takes initiatives.
Experience in creating visual assets for print and digital platforms is an advantage, but not mandatory.
Demonstrate comprehensive event management skills through the end-to-end planning and execution of engagement events.
An understanding of the latest trends in the arts and culture industry is an advantage, but not mandatory.

Working conditions
Required to work on weekends or after office hours in support of festivals/programmes, during event built-up and preparations.
Physical requirements
Able to provide hands-on support for event logistics, including set-up & teardown and movement of equipment and materials as needed for engagements and programmes.
