The Role
Responsible for secretariat and administrative support, as well as facilitating smooth daily operations within the nursing administrative and hospital operations teams.
Includes coordinating, driving or supporting tasks that are directly assigned by the Director of Nursing (DON). This role ensures the hospital meets required standards of clinical, operational, and service quality while maintaining process efficiency and effectiveness through close collaborations with various departments.
Responsibilities
Manage projects, tasks or duties assigned by the Director of Nursing
Assist to oversee the operations of the nursing administrative department
Work with the nursing leaders in monitoring and evaluating nursing quality data to ensure quality standards
Manage and collaborate budget and resource allocation with stakeholders for the nursing department
Handling of administrative tasks such as scheduling, collation, manpower monitoring and performance evaluation (i.e. promotions, award nominations, key training records for leaders etc)
Participate in strategic planning as assigned to improve delivery of services
Act as a liaison between nursing and other departments as assigned
Ensure timeliness and accuracy of documentation, as well as demonstrate efficiency in handling correspondences
Perform other duties as assigned by DON and nursing administrative team
Requirements
Minimum Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related healthcare field preferred
Administrative management in healthcare or relevant healthcare experience preferred
