Reporting to Manager, Office of Corporate Communications, you will assist in developing and executing integrated marketing and communications strategies to support the School’s activities. This role involves digital marketing, content creation, media relations, and event coordination to ensure that the SOTA brand is effectively promoted and consistently represented across various platforms.
Digital Marketing & Content Creation
Drive the School’s digital marketing strategy to enhance brand visibility and engagement
Create and manage marketing and social media campaigns, including budget planning, content ideation, and implementation schedules
Develop a well-integrated content calendar for the School’s social media platforms
Monitor and respond to feedback, comments on social media
Create and distribute engaging content in multiple formats, including social media posts, articles on web pages etc
Maintain the SOTA website, ensuring timely updates and relevance
Offer copywriting and editing expertise for web contents from internal stakeholders.
Design & Video Production
Develop visually compelling graphics for digital and print media, ensuring alignment with the School’s branding guidelines
Edit and produce high-quality videos for marketing campaigns, social media and internal communications
Create multimedia content such as promotional videos, events highlights, and interviews to support various School initiatives
Work with external vendors or manage in-house video production for events and promotional projects
Events
Plan and execute school-wide events, ensuring smooth operations
Coordinate and work with different faculties and other corporate departments to deliver successful events
School Visits
Assess, organise and handle all logistics arrangements to school visits, including booking of venues, catering, tours, presentations and liaison for technical set-up.
Marketing/Publicity Collateral
Liaise with the Arts faculties and Office of Administration on showcase information/photos
Develop and execute publicity plan for showcases and school events across multiple marketing platforms
Oversee the annual updating of public communications materials, such as curriculum booklets and the school profile
Media Relations
Assist in the planning and execution of school communications plans
Maintain positive relationships with media partners and facilitate media interviews and filming requests
Draft press releases, media advisories, speeches and other public relations materials to enhance the School’s visibility
Others
Support other school events and projects as required
Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor and management i.e. Principal/CEO, Vice-Principals and Director, Corporate Planning & Services.
Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Knowledge/Skills)
● Degree/ Diploma in Marketing, Public Relations or Mass Communications, or any other relevant qualifications/ experience.
● At least 2 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, marketing, social media management or content creation.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Experience in copywriting and editing of corporate collaterals.
● Proficient in design and video editing software (Adobe Creative Suite : Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar tools).
● Creative, detail-oriented and able to multi-task.
