Senior Executive, Marine Fuel

Candidates should be willing and able to travel globally and relocate for work.

Role:

• Oversee efficient and effective marine fuel procurement for company’s operating container vessels at designated ports and on assigned services.
• Coordinate and fulfill marine fuel requirements for company’s operating vessels as allocated.
• Drive cost-efficient marine fuel procurement through negotiation with suppliers, including oil majors, refineries, independent suppliers, and traders.
• Resolve issues related to marine fuel quality and quantity, addressing claims as necessary.
• Manage service providers associated with marine fuel, including surveyors and laboratory services.
• Oversee invoicing and payment processes related to marine fuel.
• Provide support for additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping or a related maritime field.
• Proven experience in bunker procurement with strong negotiation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the bunker industry and fuel specifications.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to report and share information promptly.
• Positive attitude, with strong multitasking abilities and a capability to manage tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Workspace.
