Job Overview

The Information Solutions division of TE Connectivity (TEIS) is a 1,400-person global organization supporting all facets of Technology services of TE. This position is for a Project Coordinator / Analyst in the Regional Service Delivery Team. Our team focuses on Compliance Management, Change Management & Governance, and support of Project Management tools and methodology for all of GIS. The candidate for this position will need strong communication, technical writing and analytical skills and have the opportunity to bring value and improvements to all focus areas our team supports. The successful analyst must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and to influence others in pursuit of stated objectives.

Job Responsibilities

• Work on changes to our Project, Program and Portfolio Management Process and tools following industry standards in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Instrumental in developing a framework for Project Manager Communities of Practice, a Project Manager/Portfolio Manager training program and global job framework for PM’s.
• Lead various process improvement projects with innovative, entrepreneurial style passion.
• Various other Portfolio/Program and Project analytical responsibilities would fall within our focus areas as needed.

Job Requirements

Competencies and Experience

• Background in Project, Program & Portfolio Management focusing on Waterfall/Agile Methodologies. Experience working in a PMO or implementing OPM3 within an organization a plus.
• Ability to present/interact crisply and fluently with TE Executive Management; outstanding communication skills in both oral and written forms – training skills a plus!
• Must be willing to travel and alter daily work schedule to meet with global community.
• Knowledge of MS Project on the Cloud, Jira, SharePoint and other PM tools.
• Experience working in Portfolio or Program Management Preferred.
• Training background preferred.

Education

• 5+ years Project Management / Analyst Experience.
• Basic knowledge of process improvement tools (Process Mapping, VSM, Standard Work, etc.) a plus.
• PMP, PMI-ACP, PMi-PgMP, CAPM, CSM, or CSPO certifications preferred.
• ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) can be beneficial.
• Bachelor’s in Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Project Management preferred.
