As part of the Communications Department, the incumbent will manage the organisation’s creative/design needs. The scope of work will include:
- Design visual concepts and collateral using appropriate tools, media, technologies.
- Brand identity/assets development and incorporation of relevant branding, marketing, and communication strategies in the creatives/designs.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver creative solutions for projects and/or needs.
The portfolio spans print and digital collateral development for various platforms. As part of a holistic development, the incumbent will not only be limited to doing graphic designs but also be given the opportunity to take on other scopes such as project management of events, corporate photography and videography, where relevant.
The role is ideal for graphic designers who are dynamic and looking to expand their skill sets in various aspects of Communications. The incumbent should be conversant with cross media platforms and possess the competency for print and digital mediums.
Job Description:
- Manage the brand identity and all associated assets.
- Maintain and ensure consistency and adherence to the TGCH corporate identity and all associated assets.
- Incorporate relevant branding, marketing, and communication strategies in the creatives/designs.
- Develop innovative design concepts and propose forward-thinking designs that cross multiple channels ranging from print, digital and social.
- Develop the full range of corporate, staff collateral marketing collateral for various print and digital platforms using appropriate tools, media, technologies.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver creative solutions for projects and/or needs.
- Project management from conceptualisation to design execution, and production for various platforms.
- Support Communications for internal and external communications and marketing needs such as internal comms, events publicity, etc.
- Undertake and/or project manage other Communication initiatives such as events, corporate photography and videography, where relevant.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media Design or a similar discipline backed by a strong portfolio, which must be produced during the interview.
- At least 2 years of experience as a graphic designer.
- Hybrid digital and graphic designer with a strong knowledge in digital platforms, and able to design and produce artworks for both digital and print mediums, including brochures, flyers, EDMs, e-newsletters, digital artworks for web and digital screens etc.
- Highly skilled in design applications, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign as well as Microsoft 365 applications, with competency in Adobe Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro and After Effects as a plus.
- Creative and in-sync with the latest design and social media trends, and with an interest in coming up with innovative ideas.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills to manage multiple projects at the same time, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Possess initiative and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Meticulous and organised and willing to learn.
- Good writing skills is an added advantage.
This position is under contractual basis, convertible to permanent employment.
