Sephora SEA’s omni channel business spans over 8 countries (Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand) with 100+ stores and boasts some global flagships such as ION and Raffles City in Singapore, F88 in Kuala Lumpur and Pitt Street in Sydney. Sephora SEA is experiencing rapid growth in the region with new store openings and business channels (i.e., Click and collect and marketplace).

The opportunity:

Senior Executive, FP&A (1-Year Contract)

  1. Partnering with various functions on a local, regional, and global scale (including Head of Finance and Operations, Finance Director and SEA Management Team) to critically analyze performance, drive cost efficiency and identify areas of risk and opportunities.
  2. Participating in cross-business decisions and ensuring a strong commercial financial presence.
  3. Consolidating results of in-country finance teams for monthly reporting, budgets and forecasts for management and global headquarters while ensuring data integrity is maintained throughout the process.
  4. Providing relevant, timely, and accurate financial information to support key responsibilities in controlling – including variance analysis of actual vs forecasts, monitoring and analyzing margins, inventory, and key drivers in delivering product category and supply chain objectives, tracking of capital expenditure against investment targets and ad hoc cost analysis.
  5. Proposing improvements to processes and reporting, piloting tools to optimize business whenever necessary or relevant.
  6. Contributing to the continuous improvement and development of existing and / or new systems within the organization.
  7. Coordinating with business teams on budget cycle, strategic plans, internal process deadlines, reporting schedules, and follow up on deliverables.

We would love to hear from you if you are/have…

  1. At least 4 years of experience in retail or FMCG, with solid accounting and planning background.
  2. Experience with SAP, Jedox and / or other performance management software.
  3. Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  4. Excellent communication skills, comfortable communicating across levels and functions.
  5. Ability to learn quickly, grasp key business drivers, and communicate in a commercially focused manner.
  6. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and possess good organization skills.
  7. Strong team spirit, able to leverage diversity and work well with people across cultures.
  8. Possesses a drive to succeed and is result-oriented.
