What you will be working on:

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Deputy Director, Finance, your responsibilities include:
  1. Oversee the Accounts Payable and Staff Claims (Non-HR) functions to ensure smooth day to day operations and timeliness of payments to vendors.
  2. To partner and provide finance advice on accounts payable and staff claims to departments, with an end-to-end view of finance processes. Monitor the aging report to identify and resolve long outstanding payments.
  3. Review staff claims to ensure compliance with IPOS’s policies and regulatory requirements.
  4. Perform month-end and year-end accounts closing tasks related to Accounts Payable and General Ledger.
  5. Extract and analyse data, prepare reports and statistics for management, government agencies etc.
  6. Review and update policies and procedures through monitoring of changes to accounting standards as well as government policies and guidelines.
  7. Work with internal and external auditors and support the audits.
  8. Lead and execute accounting related system enhancements and projects.
  9. Ad-hoc finance duties as assigned.

  5. Relevant qualifications in Accounting or Finance with preferably 3-5 years of related functional working experience.
