Senior Executive, Finance

The Office of Finance invites applications for the position of Senior Executive, Finance.

The Senior Executive, Finance is required to support the Manager to ensure effective and efficient running of all administrative and Finance in School’s financial-related services/matters to staffs from academic, administrative to students and Faculty.

Responsibilities:

• Support operational finance and procurement activities of the local unit. Ensure efficient and smooth operation and customer satisfaction.
• Assist FBP to prepare financial analysis and forecast on the local unit’s financial position. Tracking of expenses from internal records and financial reports to monitor the budget utilization of the School.
• Perform monthly monitoring on balance sheet items, open commitments and provide follow-ups on outstanding items. Review open POs to ensure no long outstanding POs.
• Timely submission of year end accruals schedules with relevant supporting documents.
• Assist Finance BP to prepare audit schedule, follow up with audit queries for yearly financial audit.
• Supports Finance Business Partner in any other matters.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Accounting / Finance/ Business.
• At least 2 years of Accounting/Finance experience.
• Entry level candidates are welcome to apply.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc).
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Good time management skills, able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Familiarity with systems such as SAP, SAP Concur, ICS, Ariba will be advantageous.
