Job description

You will be part of the International Business Division (IBD) in Singapore Business Federation (SBF) to help Singapore companies Learn, Land and Localise overseas.

You will support SBF IBD in three key functions:

  1. Operational support for events, meetings, overseas trips etc
  2. Support integrated communications
  3. Support marketing and branding work for our initiatives

Job Responsibilities

  1. Operational support for business events, meetings, overseas trips
    • Work closely with market teams to understand their projects
    • Prepare all necessary pre-project commencement preparations, bookings, logistical arrangements, liaison with local and foreign service providers etc.
    • Prepare full financial procedure related to the procured services necessary to ensure the smooth execution of project (such as cost comparison, purchase orders, payments, invoicing, claims)
    • Prepare pre-project admin, briefing, material for participants and actual day event management
  2. Support integrated communication work
    • Support all aspects of internal and external communications including press releases, media relations, social media, website content, and email marketing, event support, photography etc.
    • Provide support on administering our LinkedIn page by ensuring scheduled and updated content contributions from market teams, craft administrative posts and interesting content etc.
  3. Support marketing and branding work
    • Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns aimed at engaging the Singapore and foreign business community in SBF’s internationalisation work
    • Provide support on our eDM content editing, designing and weekly circulation to our database
  4. Provide support to SBF Management on any other tasks assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Detail oriented and highly organised and creative
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages tailored to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms including social media management, email marketing software, and web analytics
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken; including ability and experience in engaging stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude, excellent work ethic and a team player
  • Minimum two years of working experience
