Key Responsibilities
- Perform the duties of Health, Safety, and Environment governance under the Workplace Safety and Health Act and attend the required courses to attain SDU credits/points to renew and maintain the WSHO license.
- Provide safety governance framework under the Fire Safety Act and attend the required courses to attain CPD credits/points to renew and maintain Fire Safety Manager license, where applicable.
- Develop, review, and update HSSE policies and procedures and Safety Management System framework to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Maintain Singapore Hub Safety Management System Manual in accordance with SATS Global HSSE and the relevant standards.
- Lead Singapore Hub in attaining and maintaining ISO45001, BizSAFE Level STAR and ISAGO certification.
- Submit MOM iReport for Singapore Hub Business Units.
- Administer Internal Audits for the various Singapore Hub Business Units with support from the Singapore Hub HSSE team members.
- Manage annual audiometry exercise including liaison with vendors and relevant stakeholders.
- Represent the Singapore Hub HSSE team as Pulse (company incident reporting system) champions.
- Facilitate materials and meetings/engagement with union leaders.
- Administer and update relevant internal systems, portals and Share Points.
- Drive initiatives arising from SATS Board and Management HSSE Steering Committee meetings in accordance with the workplans.
- Drive company HSSE promotional campaigns and initiatives.
- Communicate and liaise with business partners, WSH regulators and other external bodies on behalf of the organization.
- Provide support for Singapore Hub Assurance and Safety Business Partners where required.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Health and Safety, Ergonomics or Engineering or equivalent, or registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM.
- Registered Fire Safety Manager with SCDF or minimally on the pathway to receive FSM qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Occupational Safety and Health.
- Preferably possess aviation operation and/or safety knowledge.
- Preferably possess safety subject competencies e.g. Work at Height, Confined Space, etc.
- Possess safety internal auditor competency, preferably lead auditor.
- Good knowledge of local and international regulations relating to Occupational Safety and Health.
- Familiar with ISO documentation, CAAS/CAG by-laws and ISAGO.
- Good planning, organizing, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with MS Office application.
- Able to work under minimal supervision and with all levels of employees and managerial staff.
- Able to collaborate with relevant external authorities and parties.
