Key Responsibilities

  1. Achieve on-time departure of flights by monitoring and ensuring adequate and optimal manning level to handle arrival/departure flight activities efficiently.
  2. Familiar with various airlines’ requirements, especially hygiene and cleanliness standards, and dressing requirements.
  3. Ensure compliance with airline requirements in handling precision timing.
  4. Minimize accidents by monitoring and ensuring staff adhere to safety protocols, including:
  • Safe docking/unloading of hi-lift.
  • Facilitating relevant training tailored for all grades of staff.
  • Conducting daily safety audits by supervisory staff.
  • Ensuring adherence to roadway safety rules & regulations.
  • Ensuring staff wear PPEs and adopt safe work practices.
  • Create a disciplined and orderly operation workforce by overseeing all staff matters at the operation level, including managing service crew performance and ensuring staff discipline.
  • Monitor and review manpower requirements based on seasonal and/or ad-hoc flight changes.
  • Monitor and control AIC’s expenditure, particularly on:
    • Work on rest day recall (WORD).
    • Overtime (OT).
    • Meal allowance claims (MAC).
    • Other significant expenditures.
  • Assist in overall monitoring of AIC business processes, focusing on:
    • Department’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    • Department’s Service Level Agreement (SLAs).
    • Maintaining good client relationships.
    • Conducting investigations on complaints/incidents and providing reports.
  • Identify areas for improvement or deficiency, especially in cost reduction and productivity gains.
  • Engage in regular meetings, briefings, and feedback sessions with staff to ensure business processes align with staff acceptance and company/department policies.
  • Implement and manage systems and technology-related projects, ensuring AIC interests are represented.
  • Manage assigned projects to ensure implementation within the timeline set.
  • Anticipate customers’ needs and develop new value propositions to increase revenue streams.
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned by the reporting officer.
