We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will lead our operations team, manage client relationships, and ensure the successful delivery of a wide range of events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee Day-to-Day Operations: Manage the operations team, including project planning, execution, and post-event evaluations, ensuring all events are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Client Relationship Management: Serve as the POC for key clients, ensuring needs are met and expectations exceeded, including conflict resolution that may arise during event planning and execution.
Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and develop Junior Project Managers and other team members, fostering a high-performance culture within the operations team.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvements and implement process enhancements to streamline event planning and execution.
Business Development Support: Collaborate with the sales team to provide operational insights and feasibility assessments during client pitches.
Cross-Departmental Coordination: Act as a bridge between the sales, design, and operations teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across all stages of event planning.
Supplier Management: Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring all vendor-related aspects of events are handled smoothly and professionally.
Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring all financial aspects of the events are managed effectively.
Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular updates to leadership on project status, client feedback, and team performance.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of experience in local event management, with a proven track record of delivering successful events.
