Senior Engineer - Project Management

Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Engineer to support and guide throughout the design, planning, construction, and post-construction stages of hospital development projects. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring that project requirements are met on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Lead and support the design and planning phases, facilitating discussions across architectural, medical, interior design, and MEP teams. Coordinate with stakeholders including consultants, contractors, and end-users to ensure smooth project progression.
2. Ensure that user requirements are captured and resolved at various stages of the design process. Track approvals, sign-offs, and maintain accurate records of discussions and decisions.
3. Assist in budget planning and control, ensuring proposed designs remain within financial constraints and meet project timelines.
4. Foster effective communication between project teams, ensuring alignment with institution policies and robust documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Stay updated on healthcare planning trends and best practices to contribute to the hospital’s development in line with industry standards.
6. Provide secretariat support, coordinate meetings, and ensure compliance with relevant processes and policies.
7. Assist in other tasks as assigned related to hospital development.

Requirements:

1. A degree in Architectural, Civil & Structural/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Building Science or Quantity Surveying/Construction Management or related to the building industry.
2. At least 6 years of relevant work experience, preferably with project management experience.
3. Ideally candidates with healthcare background.
4. Strong leadership qualities and strategic planning capabilities. (for Manager level & above)
5. Good analytical skills and project management skills.
6. Singaporean only.
