Senior Engineer / Project Engineer (cum Coordinator)

Responsibilities:

1. Assist Project Manager in all onsite technical, engineering matters and authority submissions.
2. Prepare submission of shop drawings, materials, method statements, monthly progress claims, and project management reports.
3. Lead in site coordination and execution relating to the construction project.
4. Plan micro scheduling with other trades & disciplines against the master programme.
5. Update structural, architectural, and M&E progress with scheduling tools.
6. Supervise and monitor projects to ensure they are carried out in accordance with the company’s operating procedures, quality standards, and contractual specifications.
7. Ensure supervisors and foremen meet clients’ regulatory work requirements.
8. Ensure compliance with Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) checklist.
9. Responsible for all inspection activities being carried out.
10. Ensure environmental, safety, and health practices are followed at all times.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore or Building and Construction Authority.
2. At least 5 years’ experience in building engineering projects.
3. Experience with Precast / Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) / Mass Engineered Timber (MET) projects will have an added advantage.
4. Completed Quality Mark (QM) project and a registered Core Trade Foreman or Supervisor will have an added advantage.
5. Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and BIM.
6. Organized, meticulous, with a positive work attitude.
7. Able to work independently and as a team player.
8. Excellent team player with good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude.
9. Good analytical, supervisory, and communication skills.
10. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
11. Mindset to work in a digital environment.
