Senior Engineer - Electrical (Building Services)

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible to:

• Leading electrical services design for building projects
• Assume responsibility and undertake engineering tasks of increasing scope and complexity
• Responsible for analysis of information, production of design, tenders, proposals and mechanical report writing
• Assist in coordination of quality assurance and commissioning of designs with other disciplines and other design consultants
• In charge of jobs control, planning, monitoring, progress and job cost reporting
• Communicate effectively with the client, sub-consultants, contractors, and other parties relevant to the job
• Assist in assessment and review of designs prepared by others on behalf of the clients
• Liaise with authorities on plans submission and compliance

Key Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with 4 years in a consultancy environment
• Experience in leading roles for design & design management of health, commercial and/or institutional projects
• Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures
• Competent user of relevant engineering software
• Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English
• Able to work independently & exercise initiative
• Excellent delegation and communication skills, which see you enlist the help of others to meet objectives
• A team, client and delivery focused working style
