Senior Engineer - Civil & Structural

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible to:

1. Work with the Qualified Person (QP) to develop structural scheme for structures and buildings.
2. Carry out engineering analysis to assess the stability and load to be sustained by the structures.
3. Carry out engineering design in accordance with Eurocodes or relevant international design codes.
4. Prepare submission to authorities for approval of design.
5. Provide technical advice to team members/colleagues in supporting or leading role and embrace a culture that values teamwork.
6. Attend project meetings with Client, Project Manager and Consultants from other disciplines.
7. Attend site progress meetings and reply to technical queries.
8. Lead junior engineer in delivering design and seek clearance for all relevant parties and authorities.
9. Conduct supervision & contract administration when required.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

1. Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
2. Minimum 7 years of experience with design of multi-storey/high-rise building from a local engineering consulting environment is preferred.
3. Those registered as Professional Engineer with PEB and/or have more relevant working experience will be considered for senior role.
4. Familiarity with codes of practice, relevant regulations and a working knowledge of authority submission and approval procedures.
5. Competent user of relevant engineering software.
6. Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English.
7. Able to interact and work with colleagues and members of other consultants at various levels.
8. A team, client and delivery focused working style.
