About the Role

In this dynamic position, you’ll balance technical innovation in our lab with customer-facing responsibilities, contributing to both the development of groundbreaking solutions and the growth of our market presence.

Key Responsibilities

Lab and Technical Centre:

1. Perform detailed analyses and evaluations of samples as per customer requirements, utilizing advanced equipment such as microscopes, DSC, FT-IR, retort sterilizers, and Oxtran.
2. Conduct food storage tests and facilitate lab tours, demonstrations, and seminars for external visitors.
3. Support the Technical Service/Market Development team in managing the technical centre, including budgeting, maintenance, and task allocation.
4. Prepare and present reports and promotional tools based on analytical findings, while reviewing results from team members.
5. Collaborate with external partners to enhance testing outcomes and drive innovation.

Technical Service/Market Development:

1. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for customers while supporting the development of innovative products.
2. Promote products to direct and indirect customers, including brand owners, machine makers, and raw material suppliers, to expand market presence and drive new projects.
3. Lead initiatives exploring new applications and sustainable packaging solutions, aligned with market trends.
4. Monitor and analyze market developments, such as brand owner strategies, sustainable packaging designs, and emerging opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a skilled professional with the following qualifications:

1. Educational Background: A university degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or (preferably) Polymer Engineering.
2. Industry Experience: Over 5 years of experience in the food and/or food packaging industry.
3. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and hands-on lab experience.
4. A proactive mindset with a passion for problem-solving, collaboration, and customer satisfaction.
