Job Objectives
The Jobholder is responsible for the delivery and performance of Systems / Avionics / Structure engineering activities provided to our customer (Airline).
In his/her function, the Jobholder, based in Singapore, is responsible for maintaining Airline A380 fleet to ensure highest Operational / Dispatch Reliability and Aircraft On-Time Performance (AOTP) in line with CAAS / EASA airworthiness requirements and in accordance with Airbus Technical Standards and FHS Financial interests.
Job Responsibilities
Pursue long term engineering topics pertaining to Systems/Avionics/Structures and provide engineering support to fleet watchers on A380/A320 aircraft defects for line operations.
Supporting engineering coverage and assistance pertaining to Systems/Avionics/Structures in Airlines Operations Heavy Maintenance in resolving complex queries along with customer support Engineering assistance in due time.
Provide engineering support such as critical job cards and mods packaging, resolution of issues and findings that arise from tasks for aircraft in heavy maintenance, including de-lease activities.
Pursue technical issue resolution from AOG situations and ensure appropriate defect / delay root cause analysis and engineering technical follow-up.
Act as the focal point on Monitored and Critical Retrofit topics.
Act as the focal point in the coordination with FTM Central Team on topics related to technical publication review and modification meeting with the Customer.
Develop close relationship with the Customer, to align and collaborate on processes and deliverables.
Support with ad hoc engineering analysis, action plan and technical follow-up on a monthly basis to customer’s management team.
Support MRO FTM contractors and keep continuous monitoring of their deliverables / performance.
Maintain communications with other TSP stakeholders, with an integrated collaboration with TSP Operations Team.
Ensure close relationship with Toulouse, in order to escalate critical issues to be further investigated with Airbus Customer Support and Airbus Programs at the FHS organization level.
Provide technical support, if required, to Local Aviation Authority (CAAS), EASA, and FAA.
Ensure compliance with Regulation, Airworthiness, and Quality standards.
Contribute to the highest Operational / Dispatch Reliability to support Airbus commercial image and FHS-TSP contractual KPI - Aircraft On-Time Performance (AOTP).
Provide technical support outside of office hours on duty basis.
Secondary Responsibilities
Support TSP Technical Publications (Tech Pub) Engineer as backup for Tech Pub activities.
Support Reliability Improvement Committee (RIC) for top critical engineering issues.
Contribute and implement process improvement / continuous improvement initiatives.
Support DOA activities.
Other duties assigned by your manager.
Work scope technical preparation.
Assisting for queries related to drawings, parts, and testing activities.
Job Requirements
Minimum degree holder in Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Airline/MRO, in an engineering position.
Maintenance environment experience is a strong positive.
Project management / continuous improvement skills.
