Senior Electronic Design Engineer (Digital & Analogue circuits, PCB layout)

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and actively participate in design and development of industrial sensors by working closely with Electronic Engineers on circuitry, PCB layout, and prototyping with proper documentation.
2. Perform architect and product design in the electronic system perspective.
3. Define and implement the electronic technology strategy aligned with company goals and technological advancements.
4. Perform System verification and Product Verification and Validation.
5. Drive day-to-day technical discussions with Electronic Engineers and provide guidance and advice.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain the product lifecycle including customer complaints, components obsolescence, failure analysis, etc.
7. Liaise with headquarters for technical support and technology transfer.
8. Verify regulatory compliance (UL, CE, etc.) with support from the approval department.

Requirements:

1. Master/Degree in Electronic/Optoelectronic Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum 5 years relevant experience in electronic design and development.
3. Strong knowledge in digital and analogue circuits, PCB layout experience with a system-level view and strong expertise in EMC design, troubleshooting, and testing for compliance and reliability.
4. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
5. Ability to mentor, inspire, and drive the Electronic Engineering team towards high performance and innovation.
6. Experience in leading a team is an advantage.
7. Experience in photonic design is an advantage.
