Senior Electrical Engineer/Principal Electrical Engineer (District Cooling)

What You'll Do

You will join theSingapore District Cooling (SDC), an arm of SP Group who provides district cooling and heating services to developments in Singapore. Your key responsibilities will include:

• In charge of and/ or assist on Feasibility Design and Detailed Designs for District Cooling System (DCS)
• Technical validation of the projects proposed by the Business Development teams
• Responsible for electrical solutions engineering (MV/LV switchgear, LV/HV MCC, transformers, UPS, motor starter) including equipment sizing and selection, electrical calculations.
• Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications, technical drawings, engineering documents.
• Develop & review electrical system technical documents, e.g., Single Line Diagram, MCC Schematic, Equipment layout, Cable ladder/tray routing layout
• Review electrical systems technical proposals and support project manager in planning, purchase of electrical equipment, project management of DCS projects during tender, execution, construction, T&C, etc review submission of claims from contractors.
• Supervise the start-up, testing and commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical equipment
• Coordinate and organise resources within relevant departments in the company to participate, contribute to meet project deliverables in a timely manner.

What You'll Need

• At least 5-8 years of working experience in M&E and Electrical design for large-scale chiller plant and industrial plants
• Experience in construction Project Management
• Engineering Degree in Electrical recognized by Singapore PE board
• Good stakeholder management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiar with Code of Practices, electrical design, electrical calculations, etc.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM/Revit will be advantageous
• Good data management skills
• Electrical PE / LEW is advantageous
