What we do
Our Restructuring and Insolvency practice offers critical assistance to companies that are under-performing or experiencing a full-blown liquidity crisis. Working directly with company management, A&M helps stabilise financial and operational performance by developing and implementing comprehensive profitability and working capital improvements. A&M's involvement reassures creditors that the company is taking important steps to address its problems and maximise its value.
In addition to the above, members of our Restructuring and Insolvency practice are regularly appointed to administer the judicial management and winding up of companies.
A&M is rapidly expanding in Southeast Asia and as a result, we are seeking to hire Analyst/Associate level candidates in our Restructuring Practice. Based in Singapore, you will be applying your analytical skills and deep understanding of accounting and finance to a diverse range of complex assignments with focus on all aspects of financial and operational restructuring and turnaround initiatives, both in and out of bankruptcy or distressed situations.

Key Responsibilities
- Effectively gather, analyze and sort through large data sets that sometimes can be unorganized and incomplete.
- Create, analyze and update 13-week cash flow models and other financial models.
- Conduct initial diagnostic assessments of key issues and business outlook, appraisal of options & contingency planning and cash flow assessments.
- Evaluate business plans and financial projections, including assessments of risks and opportunities - Contribute to performance monitoring following business plan implementation.
- Assist in court processes in Indonesia and other applicable countries.
- Support business development activities including the creation of client pitches and proposals to win new mandates.
- Training and mentoring of junior staff.
We are seeking
- Ideally the candidate will a Chartered Accountant (Singapore) and qualify for the Insolvency Practitioner License. 12+ years of working experience in Restructuring and Insolvency.
- Ability to manage all aspects of engagements, such as restructuring, liquidations, receiverships and judicial management.
- Financial skills: strong financial modeling skills and accounting knowledge.
- Quantitative analytical skills: good understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications, credit analysis.
- Other skills: Bloomberg terminal/Capital IQ.
- Languages: excellent in both verbal and written English, other Asian languages will be a plus.
- Proven track record in business development.
- Proven track record of strong project management skills; managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with all levels of staff.
