As the Head of Global Quality in Kinergy Corporation Ltd, you will be responsible for leading and managing the quality management function across the organization's multiple manufacturing facilities and business units. Your primary objective will be to ensure that all products and processes meet or exceed customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory compliance. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing quality strategies, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of quality excellence to maintain the company's reputation as a reliable supplier of electronics manufacturing services in the area of high tech complex capital equipment.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Management System (QMS) Leadership and Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Quality Management Strategy that aligns with the organization's overall mission, vision, and business objectives.
- Establish and enforce quality policies, procedures, and standards across all manufacturing stages.
- Monitor and improve the effectiveness of the QMS, ensuring compliance with ISO and other relevant quality certifications.
Quality Policies And Standards:
- Establish and maintain company-wide quality policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices.
- Monitor and update quality policies as needed to comply with changing industry regulations, customer requirements, and technological advancements.
Quality Audits And Compliance:
- Conduct regular audits of manufacturing facilities to assess compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and industry certifications.
- Ensure that all necessary regulatory and industry certifications are obtained and maintained.
Supplier Quality Management:
- Develop and maintain a robust supplier quality management program to ensure that suppliers meet the organization's quality requirements.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to assess supplier quality and establish stringent quality requirements for incoming materials.
- Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Product Quality Assurance:
- Establish and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure that all products meet specifications and performance expectations.
- Drive the implementation of effective testing, inspection, and validation procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
Performance Metrics And Reporting:
- Define and track key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of quality-related activities and processes.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management, providing insights into quality trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Lead and support cross-functional teams in identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality.
- Promote the use of quality tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), across the organization.
Customer Focus:
- Collaborate with business development and sales teams to gather customer feedback, understand their needs, and incorporate customer requirements into quality processes.
- Address customer complaints and concerns related to quality issues promptly and effectively.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- Extensive experience in quality management within the electronics manufacturing services industry, with a focus on high tech capital equipment assembly.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing quality strategies and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of high tech equipment and semiconductor manufacturing processes, industry standards, and quality control methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and certifications related to high tech capital equipment assembly.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ) is advantageous.
