Senior Developer, Android (Kotlin), 1 year contract

This is a 1-year contract role.

Responsibilities:

1. As an Android engineer, you are expected to work on both product development as well as engineering improvements.
2. Work closely with the product and design team to understand requirements, provide product feedback, own and implement the product from start to finish.
3. Work with the backend team to build modularized reusable UI components and design scalable APIs.
4. Drive and participate in technical discussions with other engineering teams.
5. Design and write mobile components with Java, Kotlin, and Flutter to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of the various applications.
6. Write code that is reusable, scalable, and testable. Make sure products are delivered on time and with high quality.
7. Collaborate with QAs to make sure our app releases are always worthy of five-star ratings.
8. Review code from other team members, provide constructive feedback, and strive to raise the engineering bar.
9. Take the initiative to improve the codebase proactively. Propose and set better engineering solutions for the team.
10. Be responsible and responsive during on-call duty. Able to debug and troubleshoot production issues.
11. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to peers.

Requirements:

1. At least 4 years of Android development experience on Android native, not web-based.
2. Fluent in Kotlin and MVVM.
