Senior Data Analyst, Regional BI & Planning

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Data Analyst. In this role, you will:

1. Gather business requirements from different functional teams and translate them into suitable data solutions
2. Convert ambiguous business problems into concrete questions and hypotheses to be solved using data-driven multi-disciplinary problem-solving approaches
3. Work with various partner teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity
4. Create and maintain interactive dashboards/reports to effectively provide visibility on business performance for business stakeholders
5. Leverage on data expertise and business understanding to perform analysis and provide insights to influence business decisions & hypotheses

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
2. At least 2-4 years of relevant experience with handling large volumes of data using SQL & Python (PySpark experience is a plus)
3. Proficient in Excel for data manipulation and analysis
4. Outstanding in interpersonal communications and stakeholder management
5. Experience in understanding business problems, translating it into business requirements and coming up with suitable data solutions
6. Knowledge and experience in Data Science is a plus
7. Experience in e-Commerce or the internet industry is preferred
