Responsibilities

1. Design, construct, install, test, and maintain data management systems
2. Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices
3. Integrate up-and-coming data management and software engineering technologies into existing data infrastructures
4. Develop and implement advanced statistical techniques to solve complex problems, extract actionable insights to drive data-driven decisions, and improve processes to achieve business goals.
5. Translate business requirements into data modeling and visualization, build data pipelines if necessary
6. Utilize AWS cloud services for efficient data handling and analytics, propose usage of data warehouse, and business intelligence tools, and integrate with existing platforms and workflows

Requirements

1. At least 3 years of experience working in a relevant role
2. Bachelor's or MSc from a renowned University in a related field
3. Proven experience in data analysis and experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.)
4. Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and database technologies
5. Proficient in SQL, Python, and other programming languages
6. Excellent analytical skills to work on complex, cross-functional projects
7. Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical and technical terms
8. Bonus:

• Design, develop, and operate data pipelines to provide high-quality datasets for analytical and AI/ML use cases
• Demonstrate a strong numerical aptitude and a comfort level working with extensive datasets
