Job description

Our client, one of Singapore's established non-bank financial institutions, specializing in tailoring financing solutions for businesses, is seeking talents for the position of Senior Credit Control Manager.

Working Location: Central Area

Working Hours: 5 Days (Mon-Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm)

Remuneration Package:

  • Basic up to S$ 8,000

  • Variable Bonus (~3 months)

  • Yearly Flexi Dollars S$ 1,500

Job Overview:

  • Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Senior Credit Control and Collections Manager to oversee their credit management and collections operations.

  • This role is pivotal in ensuring the company’s financial stability by efficiently managing receivables and minimizing bad debts.

  • The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional leadership capabilities, and experience in credit management and collections processes.

Job Description:

  • Develop credit control policies to reduce risk.

  • Assess customer creditworthiness and monitor overdue accounts.

  • Oversee timely collections and resolve discrepancies with finance.

  • Lead and mentor the credit control team, setting performance metrics and providing training.

  • Build relationships to manage payment issues and resolve disputes promptly.

  • Provide regular collections reports and insights to senior management.

  • Ensure adherence to regulations and adjust strategies to manage risks.

  • Align credit control efforts with sales and finance teams to meet business goals.

Job Requirements:

  • At least a Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in auto finance, factoring, unsecured lending, and property-backed loans.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in credit control and collections management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role.

  • Strong understanding of credit management principles, financial analysis, collection techniques, and legal compliance.

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
