Position Overview: As a Creative Copywriter at [Company Name], you will be responsible for crafting content that resonates across all media channels, from social media posts to long-form content, video scripts, and impactful Out-of-Home media. Your role will blend sharp creative conceptualization with understanding trending themes and consumer insights. You’ll need a keen ability to generate fresh, trendsetting ideas and lead creative concepts, from ideation through execution, ensuring they stay relevant and appealing in today’s fast-evolving media landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative concepts, crafting captivating headlines, body copy, and engaging content for digital platforms, traditional media, and Out-of-Home.
- Dream up unique themes, trending ideas, and content strategies to keep clients’ brands relevant and top-of-mind on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other emerging digital spaces.
- Create social media posts, video scripts, and transcripts, emphasising short and long-form content that drives audience engagement.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team, offering art direction and supporting creative executions across video and motion concepts, both pre- and post-production.
- Stay updated on digital trends and social media strategies, integrating these into concepts and presenting fresh, creative ideas to clients.
- Present and pitch "big ideas" with clarity and enthusiasm to clients, showcasing the thought process behind creative concepts.
- Supervise turn-key creative projects, leading art direction for all aspects of shoot production and video projects.
- Refine and enhance content using essential creative software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Premier Pro, After Effects, and other relevant tools.
- Work collaboratively with Account Planning and Account Servicing teams to ensure alignment with client objectives and project goals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in advertising and digital creative agencies, with a proven track record in senior copywriting or supervisory roles.
- Exceptional social media and digital content writing skills, with experience crafting impactful social posts, video scripts, and other digital-first content.
- A strong conceptual thinker who can dream up and execute themes and trending concepts that resonate across multiple platforms.
- In-depth understanding of digital and social media trends, paid media, and earned media strategies.
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to convey creative ideas clearly and persuasively to clients.
- Proficiency in creative software, including Adobe Creative Suite, Premier Pro, and After Effects.
- Collaborative team player with experience working across creative, account planning, and account servicing functions.
Reporting Structure: The Creative Copywriter (English) reports directly to the Managing Director.
