Senior Consultant

Job Scope & Responsibilities

• Legal and strategy consulting, including developing roadmaps and supporting implementation of policies and initiatives
• Provide advice on structuring investments
• Negotiate incentive packages with governments
• Provide advice on ESG issues, including reporting and human rights
• Manage legal counsel in Singapore and regionally
• Speak publicly at universities and other venues to create thought leadership and market the company
• Service present clients and develop new clients

Requirements

• Law degree from top university; qualified in a common law jurisdiction
• 20 years of experience at a combination of top law firm(s), intergovernmental institutions such as United Nations, private investment firms and publicly traded companies
• Experience on the ground in countries in the region (must include extensive experience in Bangladesh, Indonesia, The Philippines and Sri Lanka due to the requirements of the company's current clients)
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Excellent network of potential clients
• Good interpersonal skills
• Microsoft Office
• Fluent in English and ideally at least one other language spoken in the region (Bahasa, Bengali, Tagalog or Tamil)
