Senior Civil & Structural Engineer [Building Construction | Up to $7K]

Responsibilities

1. Oversee the review of feasibility studies, project scope, and solutions, ensuring alignment with stakeholder objectives and technical requirements.
2. Drive design development, including reviewing conceptual and schematic designs, structural calculations, and engineering analysis models to ensure technical feasibility and compliance with project specifications.
3. Lead tendering processes by reviewing project costs, schedules, and resource requirements, and assessing contractor/subcontractor bids to ensure project success and risk mitigation.
4. Supervise construction activities, ensuring quality standards, progress, and safety compliance, while addressing technical issues and coordinating with consultants and subcontractors.
5. Manage project execution by overseeing work activities, providing guidance to site supervisors, resolving variations, and ensuring timely delivery and successful project handovers.

Requirements

1. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the Singapore construction industry, with a preference for high-rise commercial buildings, mixed developments, semiconductor factories, or healthcare building projects.
2. Must be familiar with the Singapore Construction Industry Code of Practice, rules, and regulations, including the Professional Engineers Act, Resident Engineer Accreditation, Resident Technical Engineer Accreditation, Building Control Act, and Fire Safety regulations.
