Lead and oversee the design and construction management of various Civil and Structural Systems for Industrial Facility Buildings.
Manage the design of both Concrete and Steel Structures, ensuring compliance with project requirements and standards.
Assist Project Managers in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Prepare, issue, and evaluate tender packages to ensure alignment with project specifications.
Collaborate with the Architectural, Process, Mechanical, Electrical disciplines, and Quantity Surveyors to ensure integrated design solutions.
Address and resolve any site-related issues that may arise during the construction process.
Coordinate and liaise with Consultants, Sub-contractors, and other project stakeholders.
Ensure timely submission of documents and obtain necessary approvals from local authorities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Design and Construction, with a focus on industrial buildings. Experience with precast concrete and long-span roof trusses is preferred.
Hands-on site experience, including piling works, substructure, and superstructure works involving reinforced concrete, steel structures, and precast components.
Proven ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including Process, Mechanical, Electrical engineers, and Quantity Surveyors.
Strong experience liaising with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure project alignment.
Proficient in reviewing and checking shop drawings for precast and steel structures, with the ability to perform detailed design work and collaborate with computer-aided design (CAD) teams.
Familiarity with local authority requirements for civil and structural design submissions and approvals.
Must have experience with cleanroom construction.
Must be open to working after office hours if required.
