Job Summary:

We are seeking a Channel Sales Engineer to be based in Singapore, who will play a key role in driving the growth of our email, compliance, and cloud security products across the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Sales Engineering with considerable experience in working with Resellers, Distributors, and other Channel Partners. This role will involve enabling, training, and supporting Channel Partners to successfully position, sell, and deploy our cybersecurity solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partner Enablement: Develop and deliver technical training sessions, webinars, and workshops to empower Resellers and Distributors with the necessary knowledge to promote and sell our email, compliance, and cloud security products.
  2. Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with Channel Partners to provide pre-sales technical support, including product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and solution design to address customer requirements.
  3. Channel Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with key Channel Partners in the region, assisting them in developing sales strategies, identifying opportunities, and achieving sales targets.
  4. Technical Expertise: Act as a technical advisor and subject matter expert for Proofpoint’s products, addressing complex technical queries, and providing guidance on best practices and implementation.
  5. Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align channel strategies, campaigns, and initiatives to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
  6. Feedback and Improvement: Gather feedback from Channel Partners and customers to identify potential product enhancements and work with product management and development teams to improve solutions.
  7. Market Analysis: Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to identify new opportunities and provide insights to Channel Partners.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Sales Engineering experience, specifically within the cybersecurity industry.
  2. Previous experience working with Resellers, Distributors, or other Channel Partners is essential.
  3. Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of email and cloud security solutions, including knowledge of security protocols, threat detection, encryption, and data protection technologies.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  5. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and finding innovative solutions.
