Senior Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare internal reports & documents, such as Sales Plans, Tender Evaluation, and Risk Evaluations. Training will be provided.
2. Maintain and upkeep BD documents and archives, such as Project list, Company presentations, and Marketing materials.
3. Business Proposals - Pre-Qualification, quotations, and Tenders: Gather information and supporting documents from various departments, input and manage submissions (hard copies or via e-platform such as Ariba, Gebiz).
4. Send out customer satisfaction survey forms to clients and Project Managers, and tabulate reports bi-annually.
5. Proactively source new business opportunities through contacts and referrals, follow up on project leads and pipeline.
6. Maintain good relationships and contacts with clients and consultants.
7. Identify and research potential clients’ company and financial background.
8. Gather market intelligence such as project and competitors’ information, and carry out activities based on the company’s business strategy and plans.
9. Assist in developing new business strategies and plans.
10. Understand the construction industry and keep abreast of market activities.
11. Coordinate between clients and internal stakeholders, arrange for meetings, attend site visits, and tender interviews.
12. Perform any other ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirement:

1. Diploma or Degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent discipline.
2. At least 5 years’ experience in Business Development, Business Administration, or Sales, in the Engineering or Construction industry.
3. Proficient in Microsoft software (such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
4. Strong communication, presentation, and sales skills, including relationship building, strategic thinking, and being customer-oriented.
5. Proactive, self-motivated, passionate, with a positive working attitude.
6. M&E technical knowledge is not a must, but is a plus point.
7. Existing relationships with key industry players are a plus point.
