JR64994 Senior Business Analyst
As a Senior Business Analyst in the Assembly and Test Manufacturing Central Team (AT MCT) Control Systems Management team at Micron, you are responsible for identifying new system needs, investigating possible solutions and implementing system solutions. You will be on the forefront of Micron manufacturing systems innovation and discovery. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist IT and procurement in decisions related to external solution providers.
- Assist IT and manufacturing with the identification of system requirements to meet business and process needs.
- Help shepherd system enhancement/replacement projects through conception, requirements gathering, development, acceptance testing and implementation.
- Perform analysis with partners to identify issues and create a transformation plan.
- Collaborate to lead business activities related to improvement opportunities or large initiatives, including leading current state process discovery sessions, gathering requirements, modeling processes, analyzing impacts, develop validation methods, and supporting the implementation of improvements.
- Deliver innovative solutions, internally or externally sourced, that increase business value by embracing standardization, simplicity, as well as automating for speed, accuracy, alignment, and sustainability.
- Participate in the decision-making process to identify the best solutions for Micron. This includes the collection of requirements and helping IT to analyze solutions vs the requirements.
- Operate as an expert with respect to Micron's vendor communications and security protocols.
- For chosen external solutions, collaborate with the provider to become proficient in that solution to be able to perform as a Business Analyst as the project moves forward.
- Collaborate with IT and the vendor to identify and close gaps between system capabilities and business requirements.
- Teaming with the business and IT to develop and maintain a systems roadmap for the global backend at Micron.
- Collaborate with all partners to ensure projects and work items are operationally ready within established timeframes and budget.
- Identify and track overall project achievements, technical challenges, lead times and risk mitigation plans.
- Monitor key performance metrics and participate in actions that support successful performance to plan.
- Coordinate complex, multi-function projects requiring engagement of people across multiple sites and lines of business.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics, Mathematics, Electrical, Electronic, Manufacturing Engineering/Management.
- Good knowledge of semiconductor Assembly & Test process and Key Manufacturing Systems.
- More than 1 year of experience as a business analyst in a related field.
- More than 3 years of collaboration with Manufacturing and IT teams.
- Experienced in collaborating with a global team across various time zones, including travel and off hour schedules.
- Experienced with business process, business analysis, and project management Best Known Methods, especially pertaining to system processes and IT projects.
- A proactive problem solver that communicates openly; takes the initiative to assume added responsibilities.
- Has a high level of self-motivation.
- The ability to be team oriented with a solid focus on effective team dynamics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrable ability to quickly learn new concepts (Team Center and Critical Manufacturing (CMF) learning curves are key).
