Job description:
As part of the engineering external systems team, you will be responsible for the seamless operation of our facilities at Changi Airport. We are committed to excellence in facilities management, fostering innovation, and enhancing efficiency.
In addition to coordination with contractors, you are required to coordinate closely with authorities, external agencies, consultants, vendors, and CAG stakeholders (e.g., Airlines, Ground Handling Agents, CAAS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Surveys: Conduct thorough assessments of the condition and maintenance needs of buildings and facilities in Airside, Landside, Changi Airfreight Centre, and Sea Rescue Base.
- Contractor Management: Oversee contractors, ensuring prompt rectification of defects to minimize operational delays and downtime
- Specification Preparation: Prepare and publish specifications in SESAMi to secure competitive quotes for necessary work.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, external contractors, and tenants to ensure smooth operations.
- Project Management: Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project execution.
- Innovative Solutions: Develop and implement innovative ideas to enhance the efficiency and productivity of facilities management.
- Digital Transformation: Carry out digital transformation of existing processes through the use of technology, such as robotics, AI/ML, and automation.
- Knowledge Sharing: Consolidate issues and share learning experiences with team members to foster continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in building and facilities management.
- Good stakeholder and project management skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical thinking skills.
- Possession of a valid Class 3/3A driving license.
