The Associate Engineer will be responsible for Satellite platform and systems supporting satellite services. He/She possesses experience in networking, systems and security, or relevant experience in a Satellite environment.

Make an Impact by

1. Maintaining, operating and monitoring Satellite platforms equipment such as Routers, Switches, iDirect Hubs systems, Firewalls, Satellite modems, 2FA systems.
2. Providing Satellite platform support and problem management for Satellite-IP, Maritime VSAT (MVSAT), Inmarsat services, Mail platforms, Voice & data Services, ICT devices such as Smartbox, SIP phone, firewall, and Security.
3. Performing configuration, implementation and commissioning of the satellite services.
4. Reviewing incident management and escalation from stakeholders to ensure the SLA for the services are met.
5. Supporting implementation of solutions on new systems, products, and customized solutions.
6. Supporting Change Management for systems, OS upgrades, and security & vulnerabilities patches.
7. Reviewing resource and utilization of the network and system capacity.

Skills for Success

1. Diploma in Satellite Communications Engineering/ Electronics Engineering / Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Networking Engineering from a recognized institution. (Fresh graduates are welcome)
2. Applicants without the necessary qualifications but with relevant experience and skillset will also be considered.
3. Knowledge in satellite communications.
4. Strong leadership with drive to take on challenging roles.
5. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and adapt to a dynamic environment.
6. Operational readiness in a 24 X 7 environment.
7. Ability to perform 12-hour shift operations.
