This position requires balancing and influencing multiple competing priorities and individuals. The candidate will be responsible for the central coordination of all administrative functions and activities of the Office of Research, ensuring operational excellence, efficiency, effectiveness, and optimising resources. The candidate will work closely with the Head of Office (Research) and collaborate with the school’s senior management team including the Dean’s Office, Office of Research administration, Signature Research Programmes and Centres, and other School Offices (i.e. Education, Academic Medicine, Corporate Services and Innovation and Entrepreneurship). The candidate is expected to provide timely advice and guidance to the Head of Office (Research) to ensure success, and to manage ongoing projects supporting the Office of Research agenda, to ensure that activities meet planned objectives, established milestones and measurement criteria.
