Overview

We are seeking a talented full stack developer to join our innovative Robotic team. Primary role is to develop, test, deploy and maintain Software applications for the Nurse Companion Robot. These applications will perform the tasks as required to fulfil our Institution’s operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain software for robotic systems, including perception, navigation, manipulation, and control algorithms.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
3. Implement and optimize algorithms for real-time performance and efficiency.
4. Integrate software with robotic hardware components and third-party systems.
5. Conduct testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and functionality of robotic software.
6. Document software design, implementation, and testing processes.
7. Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics technology and incorporate relevant innovations into software development.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
2. Strong understanding of robotics principles, including kinematics, dynamics, sensor fusion, and motion planning.
3. Experience with robotic simulation tools such as Gazebo or V-REP.
4. Experience in full stack development, including user interfaces, backend services and data management, including frontend frameworks (i.e., React, Angular) and backend technologies (i.e., Node.js, Django).
5. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, version control systems (e.g., Git), and software development best practices.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with good communication and collaboration skills.
