Residential Education (RE) in the Halls of Residence at NTU plays an integral role in the holistic development of students. Aligned with NTU’s education goal of nurturing leaders with the 3 Cs: Character, Competence, and Cognitive agility, RE provides opportunities for students to integrate new knowledge and experiences into their residential hall life.
The RE Unit, housed under the Student Affairs Office (SAO), oversees and manages the value chain of 23 residential halls comprising hall governance involving faculty-in-residence, student leaders and residential mentors, as well as centralised programmes and ground-on initiatives by the hall leadership team.
The Senior Assistant Manager serves as educator-facilitator-administrator to enable student development and structured co-curricular learning under the RE framework, in alignment with RE, SAO and NTU 2025’s strategic goals.
