Senior Assistant Manager, Operational Support Services (WSH)

You will be responsible for the following:
Workplace Safety and Health
Discharge the duties of a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and the WSH Regulations.
Develop and implement WSH management systems and risk management plans for the workplace.
Develop and implement programmes to steer WSH culture, habits, and norms of the organisation.
Develop WSH training programmes and conduct safety trainings.
Provide advice to Management regarding changes in the Acts, Regulations, Codes of Practice, and Standards, and make recommendations on workplace safety & health and environment protection matters.
Carry out WSH inspections and evaluate WSH non-compliance, unsafe work conditions, and practices to identify WSH performance gaps.
Facilitate the management of risk in the workplace, recommend, implement actions, and review the effectiveness of measures to improve WSH performance and control risks.
Conduct incident investigations and make recommendations to address the root cause of incidents.
Act as the secretariat for the WSH committee and Fire Safety to facilitate operations requirements and maintain compliance with ACOP.
Lead efforts to attain accreditation for the Bizsafe certification roadmap from Level 3 to Bizsafe Star, ISO45001, and Ensure Safer System (ESS) certification for all NUP polyclinics and HQ.
Lead periodic audits for Bizsafe Star and ISO45001 for all NUP polyclinics and HQ.
Assist the department in matters relating to Facilities Management, Hospitality, and Facilities Development.
Any other duties assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Workplace Safety and Health recognised by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
At least 5 years of relevant WSH working experience.
MOM registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer and SCDF registered Fire Safety Manager.
Familiarity with Singapore and International WSH Standards and Regulations.
Experience in obtaining Bizsafe Star and ISO45001 certification for past/current workplaces is preferred.
Experience in the Healthcare industry is an advantage.
Self-driven and meticulous with strong ability to multi-task.
Possess strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
