About Department and Purpose of the Position

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and versatile individual with exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for acquiring and developing talent to meet the evolving needs of our organization. In this role, you will need to be agile and customer-centric, maintaining seamless communication with various HR Business Partners and NCIS leadership to drive recruitment and talent management initiatives. Your work will be instrumental in shaping the future of cancer care through the development of a resilient and compassionate workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Talent Acquisition, Onboarding Excellence and Candidate Experience Management
    • Oversee an end-to-end recruitment process in partnership with the various institution’s HR Business Partners. This will include job postings, resume screening, coordinating multi-stakeholder interviews, providing hiring recommendations, and addressing new hire inquiries.
    • Ensure a smooth, positive candidate experience from application through onboarding, fostering engagement and satisfaction. Work closely with hiring managers to develop comprehensive onboarding plans tailored to new employees.
    • Lead and facilitate engaging onboarding sessions that introduce new hires to the organization’s culture, values, and expectations.
    • Continuously evaluate and refine the effectiveness of onboarding programs to improve the overall recruitment and onboarding experience.
  2. HR Liaison
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between NCIS and various institutions’ HR business partners, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration on HR matters.
    • Provide administrative support for HR initiatives and NCIS projects, as required.
  3. HR Analytics, Data & Strategy
    • Generate and analyze recruitment reports, tracking key metrics to identify areas for improvement and inform decision-making.
    • Maintain accurate records of manpower strength, employee movements, and potential hires, ensuring timely updates. Assist in manpower planning and projection exercises, contributing to the annual work plan cycle.
    • Collaborate with department heads and NCIS leadership to understand their talent acquisition and management needs. Develop and deliver tailored strategies to attract, acquire, and retain talent across various job groups essential for delivering exceptional cancer care.
    • Collaborate with department heads and NCIS leadership to provide administrative support for the annual TPM process, with a strong understanding of performance metrics and appraisal systems.
  4. Employee Well-Being & Administrative Matters
    • Partner with our Wellbeing Officer to implement and support programs/activities that promote employee well-being and work-life balance.
    • Collaborate and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to create a positive work environment.
    • Assist with other tasks that may be assigned.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Communications or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience as an HR generalist or in a similar HR role, or an administrative role with HR experience and strong communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to adapt and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong skills in data management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a positive, 'can-do' attitude.
  • Sensitivity to diversity and inclusion, with a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Flexibility to respond to changing recruitment needs and evolving organizational priorities.
  • A team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering an excellent candidate experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), data presentation and skilled in HR-related software and IT systems.
