Monitor closely alarms and tripping/fault occurrences.
Inform immediately and coordinate with the front-line maintenance staff to verify the fault ASAP.
Coordinate with internal staff periodically to perform remote/local operation function tests associated with Power and ECS installations.
Carry out remote switching of ventilation systems under emergency situations according to the Work Instructions and operation procedures.
Under emergency situations, perform fault or outage conditions of remote switching of 22kV, 1500V DC, or 415V installations to restore the power supply immediately.
Develop, review, and revise the Work Instructions and associated operation procedures periodically or as required.
Assist the supervisor in all areas of responsibility as stipulated above.
Perform any engineering works or tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Ensure works and documentation are in accordance with ISO Quality Standards and quality procedures.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Enforce Departmental Work Instructions and all rail-related safety rules and procedures.
Responsible for the safety of departmental staff, related contractors, and others working on the Electrical Distribution system and NEL OCS system in the MRT premises.

Requirements
Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Preferably with relevant working experience in maintenance of HV and DC traction power equipment, and an Electrical Power System background.
Preferably a Licensed Electrical Worker (Technician/Electrician Grade).
Strong interpersonal skills.
Good planning and writing skills.
Resourceful, self-motivated, and result-oriented.
