About Us

LawNet Technology Services (LTS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Singapore Academy of Law (SAL), a promotion and development agency for Singapore’s legal industry. LTS is the technology company behind LawNet, a one-stop law practice portal providing a complete suite of information and transactional solutions for the Singapore and global legal community.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage a team of developers in the design, development, and deployment of software applications.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, business, marketing) to define product requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
3. Drive continuous improvement by evaluating and adopting appropriate technologies, frameworks, testing, documentation, tools, and design models.
4. Champion a culture of high-quality code through code reviews, test automation, and sharing best practices.
5. Guide operations, development, and infrastructure teams to triage and resolve support tickets promptly, and to plan for relevant enhancements.
6. Mentor and lead the development team, including conducting technical interviews, performance reviews, and developing training plans.
7. Manage and prioritize the backlog of development tasks and ensure timely delivery of projects.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Systems or equivalent.
2. At least 5 years’ hands-on experience with web application design, development, and support.
3. 3-5 years’ experience of leading local/remote/vendor teams.
4. Good understanding of both SQL and NoSQL (document, key-value) databases.
5. Familiarity with development best practices, including source control, code review, pair programming, CI/CD toolchain, and automated testing frameworks.
6. Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, and others.
7. Proficiency in coding languages (Java preferred), RESTful APIs, and React.
8. Demonstrable experience with cloud architecture and OAUTH2/OIDC-based Identity & Access Management systems.
