What the role is:
You will be involved in all activities related to the airport development works and be responsible for working with the airport operator in managing the construction of the new Changi East development, to ensure that they are carried out on schedule and within budget.

What you will be working on:
As a Senior Assistant Director / Assistant Director, you will be responsible to liaise, organise and chair meetings involving government authorities/agencies, airport operator, and consultants. You must be able to work independently in overseeing the airport operator, preparing progress reports and making presentations to update on the status of the various portions of the airport development works at different reporting platforms.

What we are looking for:

1. Trained in Architecture or Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering
2. At least 10 years of relevant working experience with large-scale development project (>$500 million) experience
3. Prior engineering design experience preferred; candidates with Qualified Person (QP) / Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification will be considered favourably
4. Strong project management and leadership skills with proven track records
5. Knowledge and understanding of public sector procedures, including different roles of respective authorities, agencies and procurement requirements, is advantageous
6. Self-motivated, resourceful, a good team player and able to multi-task
7. Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
8. Strong presentation and analytical thinking skills

Note: Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
